BUBBLE GUM INTERACTIVE ANNOUNCES EXECUTIVE TEAM CHANGES

Sydney, Australia 5th April, 2012

Independent Children’s Entertainment developer Bubble Gum Interactive has announced changes to the executive team as the company focuses on capitalising on early momentum and unanimously positive market reception to drive strong growth over the next twelve months.

Founder and Executive Producer Phillip Mason steps up to the role of Chief Executive Officer. Phil’s experience in digital entertainment and international business and his vision for creating compelling family-friendly entertainment services for a global audience will provide strong direction for the business as it grows rapidly in 2012, with a focus on partnership deals and ongoing audience engagement.

“2012 will be a landmark year for Little Space Heroes” said Phil Mason. “Our virtual universe is experiencing rapid growth with tens of thousands of kids from fifty countries playing regularly since December with lots of fan blogs, sites and videos springing up everywhere!”

As CEO, Phil takes the place of Co-Founder Leigh Harrison who moves into the Chief Finance Officer and New Business Development roles. Leigh will leverage his extensive expertise in international product development, import and export to head up new business development as the company begins to work with partners to build a global licensing program.

“After attending the 2012 Australian Toy and Hobby Trade Fair and speaking with various interested parties from Australia and overseas, I’m excited to be leading plans to launch official Little Space Heroes merchandise internationally. A big credit goes to the team for creating a story-driven original IP that’s already garnered a rapidly growing global fan base. Our fans are already asking us for toys, games, books and more!”

Co-Founder Paul Gray has been appointed as Chief Marketing Officer and also joins the Board of Directors. Paul brings extensive experience and vision, having worked in marketing, community management and product management roles for the Walt Disney Company in Australasia and Europe.

“We’re committed to creating a compelling new entertainment brand for kids and families worldwide. From our beginnings in creating the amazing new virtual universe Little Space Heroes, we’re excited to be taking the story into new platforms including mobile games and cartoons. It’s an amazing adventure!” said Paul Gray.
