Pulsating Pulsars! Space Heroes wins the Creative Child Magazine 2012 Game of the Year
Independent Children’s Entertainment developer Bubble Gum Interactive is thrilled to announce that its acclaimed virtual universe for kids Space Heroes has been named 2012 Game of the Year, Online Games Category, by Creative Child Magazine.
Creative Child Magazine is an industry favorite among parents and educators for its news and selections of games and toys that encourage imaginative and creative play. The judging panel for the Creative Child Awards consists of parents, educators, and learning professionals, who do hands-on reviews, scoring each product based on the criteria of nurturing creativity and education in children.
“Space Heroes is a safe, fun and inclusive virtual universe for kids aged 6-12″ said Creative Child Magazine. “Kids create their own heroes and craft their own intergalactic adventures as they explore with friends. Kids can play free or upgrade to premium membership.”
Much more than a virtual world, Space Heroes is a compelling new free universe in which kids create their own Hero and embark on an epic intergalactic adventure. Blending an original story with collaborative social play, Space Heroes has experienced tremendous traction worldwide with tens of thousands of kids from over 80 countries blasting off for adventure every day.
“We’re passionate about creating a gaming experience filled with fun and adventure for kids, and in Space Heroes it’s important that all our players feel like the star of the show” said Phil Mason, CEO “We recognise that parents want to ensure that the products and services their kids use are not just fun, but also safe, inclusive and positive. We’ve worked very hard to create an experience that not just meets, but exceeds parent expectations and we’re over the moon that Space Heroes has won Game of the Year.”
Winning 2012 Game of the Year adds to a growing swag of independent endorsements of Space Heroes including the kidSAFE+ Seal, Family Friendly Videogames Seal of Approval, Parents’ Choice Award as well as ESRB E for Everyone and PEGI-OK Ratings.
